Black Women on the Rise

African American women are on the rise of demonstrating great leadership and determination. When given equal opportunity as others, we can be anything we want to be. How often do you see black pilots? Not much, but how often do you see an all black flight crew? Rarely!!! A jet owned by Atlantic Southeast airlines was flown by the ladies in the picture above. They flew from Atlanta, Georgia to Nashville, Tennessee on Feb. 12, 2009, and there were no problems to occur. Congratulations ladies, you just made history!
