Its A Wrap For Cable TV!

Time Warner and Bright House customers will lose 20 Viacom channels, such as Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1,  and BET, because their cable company and Viacom are in dispute. The contract ends 2nite at midnight between Viacom and TW and BH. Viacom wants to increase their fees so cable companies are debating whether to renew the contract and they have a few hours to come to a decision. They will cause cable companies to charge more than $30 more if they go in their favor. If they fail to renew the contract, people will most likely cancel their cable service and switch to satellite tv because all the good channels will be gone. I mean really , NICK, MTV, BET, and VH1, are the most watched channels. No more reality shows or children programs. But there is a twist! 

Cable operators such as Time Warner are also miffed that Viacom and other companies have made some of their most popular programming available for free on the Internet. That's where many fans of Comedy Central's Stewart and Stephen Colbert catch their shows. 

"They are not charging people more for that," Time Warner's Dudley said. "We will just tell our customers how to hook up their PCs to their television sets so they can watch it online for free." 

This is true because when i miss a show on TV, i just go to the website and watch it on there for free. I rarely watch TV now because i know i can watch all my shows on the PC. So now they are encouraging this to happen if the contract is not renewed. Cable TV is done for 2009, but for those who still want to watch their favorite channels on the television, you need to call the numbers below and demand it. NOW! You have 15 hours!!!!!!!

How Low Can You Go?

Over the past few months, gas prices have went from almost 4 bucks to now about $1.50 averaged. Every week gas gets lower, and lower, and lower. But for how long will this new trend last? I'm rolling in a Kia, and you can laugh if you want to, but I havent refilled on gas in two weeks, and i still have a half tank left. 2 weeks ago $13 dollars filled my tank up, so I'm loving it. In my hood, gas is now $1.41! Its about to be a new year, income tax time is approaching, so i'm thinking its going to rise slowly because people will have more money to spend. Supply and demand can be a b!tch, so my prediction will be that gas is going to rise to almost 2 bucks in Jan 2009. Let's see if it happens, but until then..enjoy your cheap gas while you can.

New Aaliyah Movie

A biopic will air next year about Aaliyah's life. She had a tragic airplane accident that resulted the end of her life in 2001. She was an idol to most teens, and her spirit continues to live through her music. R&B singer, Keshia Chante, will be playing Aaliyah's role. She really do look like her, but in my opinion, I think Ciara should get the role. Cici has the looks, the moves, and the vocals. Plus her album will be dropping around the same time, so that will boost her career a little. Its a good idea, but either way, i cant wait to see the movie.

If you dont already know, D & B will be appearing in Miami this weekend to do a show for Hot Import Nights. The car show will be at Miami Beach Convention Center between 5pm and midnight. OLD White Man kills four rappers

A Senegalese man in his 70s opened fire on a rap group, injuring four of them, during a live show because he thought they were making fun of him in their song titled "Angry Old Man," reports said.

The band members and a fifth injured person, a female fan attending the concert, were taken to hospital to be treated, according to widespread reports in the Senegalese media.

The shooting spree occurred near Matam in northern Senegal during a song entitled Vieux Colereux (Angry Old Man), the reports said.

VH1 Catfight results in hair loss!

According to TMZ, there was a brawl at the Charm School Rock of Love Reunion between Sharon Osbourne and Megan H. Megan was sent to the hospital and filed charges against Sharon. Apparently, Sharon verbally attacked Megan like she did last time on the show, and Megan said to Sharon that she is 'only famous for managing a brain dead rock star.' That's when all hell broke loose. Sharon flew on stage and grabbed Megan by the hair and refused to let go until security was able to get them apart. DDDAAMMNNN! Look at the result of this fight!

Sharon was out of line, she was the host of the show and should have acted more professional. The whole purpose of the show was to guide these girls into respectable rockstars, fighting was prohibited. Megan was sent home for kicking another girl on the show, and then Sharon attacks her with rage. So what lesson have we learned here today ladies. Now, Megan is not innocent and what she said was a bit harsh, but she is obviously hurt by this. Many girls have tried to attack Megan because she was conniving and sneaky on all 3 VH1 shows, but she has never needed to press charges. Megan doesnt really need the airtime because VH1 will be giving her a show of her own, Megan's search to find love and become a 'trophy wife.' Poor Megan..Sharon took a huge chunk of her hair out..i feel for you girl! Good luck on your show!
